To provide maximum protection to ENGEL Workwear users, many of its products are designed in such a way that both the garment design and the fabric conform with international standards and regulations.

Although many other ENGEL Workwear products do not require certification, we do check that they comply with specific requirements. As a result, the majority of the ENGEL Workwear OEKO-TEX® Standard range is 100-certified, and selected products have both water tightness and UV protection certified. As a result, as a user, you can be confident that you are receiving enough protection.
OEKO-TEX® certification is found on the majority of ENGEL Workwear. OEKO-TEX® is the world’s premier textile health certification. In a nutshell, OEKO-TEX® certification ensures that the fabric/product is not hazardous to the wearer’s health.
Most people are familiar with the ‘Confidence in Textiles’ logo. The OEKO-TEX® 100 standard is a human-environmental product standard. The fabrics are subjected to chemical and dyestuff testing.

In addition to protecting yourself against hazards at work, it is essential to take care of your body. As a result, certain fabrics are expressly designed to give protection from sun UV radiation, which are detrimental to human health.
To provide the user with a better level of protection, we have opted to utilize UV-801 certified materials in much of ENGEL workwear. Choosing UV-801-certified apparel ensures maximum protection from the sun’s harmful rays.
Further information on UV-801 certification may be found at www.uvstandard801.com.

Items certified to EN 13758-2 provide verified UVA and UVB protection against the sun’s damaging effects.
A UPF of +40 indicates that no more than 1/40 of the sun’s damaging rays penetrate the clothes. The amount of protection is diminished when the garment becomes worn, damp, or stretched. Please adhere to the washing and care recommendations.
